I would have exited the store and called the police. It is my understanding that the reason people carry is SELF defense. It does not fall upon me to defend a pawn shops cash till from armed robbers. In this particular case the dead individual didn't think it out too well. Attempting to take down TWO armed robbers is a bit risky as he found out.

Using single, anecdotal events to try to impact public policy is as dishonest as it gets and it's been used for over 100 years to deny women, minorities and everyone else their rights. So just stop.
The problem is that we have lots of data. It’s called every other country in the world. That is ignored by gun addicts as well.
