It wasn't testimony. It was losers saying that they felt they were NOT dealt with the due respect their exalted office demand they be treated. As a matter of fact, they were that and beyond.

You have no idea what I have listened to. I fact I have listened to a substantial amount of it, but have found NOTHING worthy of the label "testimony". More like whining and crying "orange man mean".

He is doing his job, cleaning house and getting to the bottom of abject corruption. Get over yourself. It's a new chapter in American politics, and we are going to start with a clean sweep after a swamp-drain. We will not let you, Pelosi, Soros et al steal our country. NEVER, no matter what. No matter what.

I won't even bother to ask you to put up, because you can't and are not worthy of further attention.

He didn't even drain the swamp as some ran out or were thrown in jail.

The personal gain Trump would get was a political talking point smearing Joe Biden. This political talking point smear is the long and short of why Trump held up the money.

Trump intended to achieve this goal of a political smear by demanding an "announcement" of the investigation.

Gordon Sondland testified that Trump wanted an "announcement" by Zelensky on CNN of an investigation of the Bidens - and that the investigation did not actually have to occur.

If Zelensky would announce on CNN Ukraine was investigating Burisma and the Bidens, the money would be released.

The hearings were well worth watching. There are many videos on youtube. If you watch nothing else, watch interrogations of the witnesses by Goldman (counsel for the Dems) and Castor (counsel for the GOP). I thought both attorneys did well. Just the facts.

These videos can be found by searching for "Goldman impeachment" or "Castor impeachment." If you watch a Goldman interrogation of a witness, follow it by watching the Castor interrogation of the same witness - because this is how the hearings flowed - Goldman interrogation, Castor interrogation - and then "questions" from committee members which was nothing more than a sickening opportunity to grandstand for far too many of them.

Each atty questions for about 35 minutes. I find them fascinating viewing.

Or, go to C-Span and watch a hearing in its entirety.

Then draw your conclusions.

So, if that is the case, the thing that really motivates Trump in this whole episode is jealousy and greed. National interest, corruption, security, or supposed election meddling have nothing to do with it. As we know, everything is always about Trump and his personal interests and gain, as Bolton famously pointed out. Anyone who thinks or tries to argue otherwise is a fool or a sycophant working for Trump (or both, aka Rudy).

I thought both did a pretty good job and very rarely interjected political bias. No grandstanding for the most part. Just the facts.

Biden has never been a political opponent of Trump. Only H. Clinton has.

And so what. Being a potential opponent is in no way a valid shield of immunity.

Your "level of thinking" seems to be that of a communist control freak that wants to overturn the election of a duly elected president, and sweep the corruption of your comrades under the rug.

Funny how there is no evidence of any crime with the Bidens. Yet Trump admitted out of his own mouth his crime.
