He's playing to the middle, smart move. Most stoners don't care if it is legal or not.

Creepy Joe is probably old enough to have seen Refer Madness when it wasn't viewed as a parody. This dinosaur is not "playing to the middle". He wants to prevent America from changing too much, because change is scary as hell when you are a fossil with dementia. He can barely grasp reality as it is. How is he going to advance America and help it evolve for the future?

Biden is going down like Hillary did. No good ideas, lots of slogans, no real substance, favoring whatever will get them votes. But as long as polls show him in the lead, people think he will be the candidate. I think at some point that will change and he will not be the candidate in 2020. Two thirds of Americans favor legalization, but he is playing to Iowa. 22million people have smoked pot in the last year. But I bet they are related to at least a hundred million people who wouldn't want to see them arrested. To be against legalization of pot in 2019 is like being against alcohol in the early 1930's. All Trump would need to do to win again would be to legalize it.

I disagree. In 2019 the only people who are still against legalization are the white evangelicals. Everyone else is for it. Unless this is an attempt to peel off some of Trump’s white evangelical support, which would be stupid since cannabis is pretty far down on their list of top issues, I think it’s more likely to sink his campaign. Democratic voters are almost entirely pro-legalization.

Evangelicals would still vote for Donny if he shot someone on 5th avenue.

And so would I . Cannabis is long past an important issue for anyone. there are more important issues.

You just named the most important one. Trump supporters have lost their ability to reason or judge right from wrong.

POTUS has no authority to legalize marijuana.

It’s up to Congress.

Bill is in the Senate’s court and likely DOA.

With the exception of Alaska, the states that have legalized marijuana for recreational use are blue states.

17 states have yet to legalize medical marijuana.

In other words, there is no critical mass.

You a single issue voter?

You honestly think it will be legalized or even attempted to by any other candidate?
