The way it's titled, nearly 1 in 5...still means 0 out 5.

At least Blue admits to being socialists. You have to respect someone for telling you to your face that they will rape, rob, and kill you...in a weird way.

Team Red? They spout off individuality, capitalism, and liberty all day long then turn around and support Big Daddy Tariff Trump as he drone strikes babies in Yemen, regulates the hell out of the economy, pumps $61 billion in to the Dept. of Ed., steals land from private citizens at the border, and passes two major gun restriction laws.
the the 3% margin of error off the 19%, and you've got 14% of those who will vote for an R, even though they think both parties are socialists. And 2% who are that damn stupid that they think we're supposedly socialist, not capitalist.

Or maybe it's 8% No_Recess types, and 8% skulls of mush in or just out of college that identify as Republican.

If Trump is impeached we lose a perverted lifelong Democrat for a devout Christian Republican

Not how it works - if had 41% of Dems and 19% of Reps with equal weight in poll, you would have 30% of the total vote [(41+19)/2] hardly a landslide. Also poll was 12% believing socialism was better - again hardly a strong opinion.

Also look at the question - not worded such that they are taking a position. "Would you vote for a presidential candidate who identifies himself or herself as a socialist?" - voting in politics is not a one issue item - some might consider it if other things convinced them.

Default You like falling snow, therefore you are in favor of avalanches that kill people.

Left cannot see degrees of an issue. If you like libraries you therefore are in favor of socialism.
