There is another scenario that could transpire that is not talked about much. And that is a secret ballot vote in the Senate and if passed Trump will be removed from office. There is hardly a dime's difference between the establishment globalist [R]s and the establishment globalist [D]s. Tell me on a secret ballot vote that scum [R]s like Romney,Rubio,Cruz and Portman would vote to save Trump.
Only 51 votes are needed and Trump can not count on Manchin since he campaigned against him.
If a secret ballot is implemented there is no way Trump survives and the establishment removes him and back to status quo.
Isn't impeachment a process that's already going and will happen? People seem to be confusing impeachment with removal from office, which are different as I understand it. Personally I'm in favor of removing any president from office that colludes with a foreign government against our own national security interests. What "team" they're on doesn't matter to me.

Somebody hasn't seen the recent polling, support for impeachment is dropping like a rock. The dems are leaving the door open for them to back out of impeachment.
If support continues to drop, the dems may not even go through with impeachment.

A 2/3 vote is required and the Republicans will certainly not be doing any secret trial. We already know what Trump did or may have done. They will take this as opportunity to go on the offensive.
