Of course the military is the biggest suck for that money.

But if push came to shove, Medicare could be gotten rid of. Wouldn't bother me and I am on it. I think it is a bit weird that we pay for retired people like me who aren't working. But as long as it is there I will take it. And while they are cutting off old people may as well cut off all the support for premies. Premature infants also don't work and have astronomical medical bills. I am sure there are some others that could be cut off and save tons of money so you won't be burdened.
Democrats already support that , it's called abortion.

That's is correct, join the club. However, it took you to the age of 65 to use it. That is ridiculous.

No, that is not correct. The US government subsidizes about half of what it costs to fund Medicare. It is a myth that Medicare is self funded.

The idiots proposing the Medicare for all giveaway just to buy votes, don't understand the fact that there just isn't enough OTHER PEOPLES MONEY to go around

You are talking trillions of dollars in costs and even if the crazy politicians went in and took every dollar that the billionaires and millionaires have, it just won't cover the cost.

That leaves us to pay for their dumba$$ ideas

No it isn't. I prepared ahead of time, but I worked full time until I was 70 anyway

Bad choice of a name.

We need universal health care but they should have called it something else because calling it Medicare is turning people against it.
They already had one. It was called the "Public Option" and Barry Soetoro helped kill it back in 2010.

Don't hold your breath (anybody)

30+ other 1st world countries manages to do it... while spending half of what the US currently doing now. With better or equal results.

Why is the US sooooo inept compared to those 30+ countries with 600+ million inhabitants?

Medicare for all would save the US $1-2 Trillion each year!!!

Medicaid covers many children, 45 million, who are not "deadbeats" as someone labelled them.
