Because if this madness is allowed to continue unabated, I don’t want my child to have to live in such a world. She shouldn’t be forced to believe this is normal, shouldn’t have to sit with, work with, or interact with such creatures in everyday life.
No one should be forced to condone sick behavior or adjust their own language, beliefs, or life to accommodate another’s delusions. The very term “transsexual” or “transgender” is another invention of the left to normalize the abnormal. Sex = gender and no one really changes either. DNA doesn’t lie.
By all means get them the help they need, but this does not mean funding self-mutilation. Separate them from normal society and make available whatever therapy or heavy medication is necessary.
If this indeed the medical condition that some claim, then at some point an ER doctor would have looked down at an incoming patient and screamed “Quick, get this man a dress! And some makeup and a wig! Stat!” That hasn’t happened.

Please don't kill ypur child because you're infuriated that some people have to deal with a very difficult situation.
I'd bet money her parents began working on this as early as possible.
No 2-year-old is ever going to say anything close to that.
I'd be just as likely to believe their son was dunking on a regulation goal when he was 4.
Don't blame me for noticing the parents planned this.

So, from the get go, there is going to be unequal treatment; therefore, more males are most likely hiding such behaviors.
We also don't know if the brain chemistry issue causing gender dysphoria and transgenderism is more likely to occur to those born male or those born female.
Regardless, it's an extremely difficult situation for people born this way, and the volume of disdain doesn't help them.
The suicide rate of teens with gender dysphoria and transgenderism is incredibly high. Luckily, more and more of their peers are becoming accepting of it.
I've personally met two transgender teens forced out of their homes just in the last 3 months.
If being transgender is something that parents decide to do to their children.....why would they throw them out of the house because they are transgender?
Along those same lines, do you believe that if they chose to, your parents could have turned you into a homosexual?
I think everyone wants to show others respect, opportunity and acceptance, but when I see someone with a face stretched so tight that there's a permanent joker smile, lips puffed up like marshmallows and eyeballs pulled to the ears, I want to both stare and recoil at the same time. I have the same reaction when I see a man in stilettos and mini skirt with long hair around a bald spot, and caked on make-up. I want to stare but in a way it's revolting. I can't help it - it's just so bizarre.
Remember the freak shows at the circus fair grounds? I wanted to stare then too.
Really? You must be skipping over a lot of posts in this thread.
I don't think it has anything to do with the mind, but rather, social awareness. How many transsexuals were around in the 17 hundreds, 18 hundreds, and into the 19 hundreds?
My guess would be none, or very few in the 19 hundreds.
It has become a social statement.
Bob.
Probably the same percentage as there are now.
How many people in those times would have dared to act on their feelings or make them public?

Highly unlikely the percentages would be the same. If there was no option of acting out, I'm sure there's a certain percent of the population that wouldn't entertain that option in the first place. My friend who went from Male to Female, went back and forth for years before taking hormones, and now has breasts. He, now She won't under go the knife, ridding herself of a penis, so I'm not sure how that works in being 100% female?
I have no problem with a person to undergo what ever kind of transformation they want, I just don't want to pay for it.
Good luck with your de-transition OP. Sorry life has been so difficult for you.
