Q: Okay. At any point in time, from the moment that you walked into the SCIF to anytime in history, has Mr. Duffey even provided to you a reason why the President wanted to place a hold on security assistance?
A: I recall in early September an email that attributed the hold to the President’s concern about other countries not contributing more to Ukraine.
And if you read thru the subsequent pages, it goes into questioning about those details.
So now we have testimony about why aid wasn't given. It wasn't Biden. There's nothing impeachable here.
US Total Spending on Ukraine since 2014: $3 Billion
EU Total Spending on Ukraine since 2014: $16.4 Billion
I am not sure if Trump knows he is President of the US... not EU?
"Since 2014, the EU and European financial institutions have contributed more than $16.4 billion (15 billion euros) in grants and loans, the EU spokesperson told us."
"The Europeans did a whole lot more than the United States in terms of actual cash put into the Ukrainian budget," said Samuel Charap, a Ukraine analyst with RAND, a nonprofit research organization.
That narrative was cooked up in the White House when they realized their extortion effort was exposed. White House emails show the lengths they went to to come up with a plausible story about why the aid was withheld. Of course a cover-up is obstruction, which is another impeachable offense.
Trump keeps throwing excuses at a wall, hoping something sticks. It won't. He's knee deep in corruption and lies and he got caught. The money was appropriated by congress and a president doesn't not have a legal right to hold it up for any reason.

Trying so hard to make it seem as if Trump is some sort of innocent victim when every Trump voter here knows he's up to his eyeballs in impropriety.
Enjoy spinning yourselves into a tizzy, though.
The truth hurts. I understand.
Schiff has nothing.

The aid was withheld in late July and restored on Sept 11. Intelligent Americans know that any memo giving an alternate reason for the halt as early as Sept 1 as a coverup.
To the rest of you. Beware of the sequence of events here and their places in time. If you recall, Pelosi was willing to hold of on impeachment before this new sin became obvious.

It's gone way beyond Schiff now. Are you having a problem keeping up?
