Whew! Now I can sleep tonight. I was really worried over this huge issue. I'm glad Trump was president when this came up. Only a man chosen by God could take care of this. Can't wait to see his EO on this. So much winning. First he wins the War on Christmas and now this.
Quote:
"You know, some people want to change the name Thanksgiving," Trump told the crowd in Sunrise, Fla., without offering specifics. “They don’t want to use the term 'Thanksgiving.'”
“And that was true also with Christmas, but now everybody’s using Christmas again. Remember I said that?” he continued, echoing a common refrain from past rallies.
Thank God. On the eve of Thanksgiving, I was worried that all we are thankful for was in grave danger. The term "Thanksgiving" is one of the biggest issues for the 2020 election.
All hail Dear Leader, das fuhrer, Turkey-Gobble Donny, for saving us from certain doom.
I wondered where the war on Christmas went, thanks for reminding me that Trump ended it. And, wow, he ended the war on Thanksgiving without anyone knowing it was even a thing! He's the man!
30 years ago, nobody would have believed saying "Merry Christmas" would be considered offensive.
Thirty years ago the White House was sending out Christmas cards that said, "Seasons Greetings" and no one was offended by that.
