It'll be like when Comey said Hillary was "extremely careless" with classified information but not guilty of gross negligence.

this reminds me of when Comey clearly said that Hillary did nothing illegal, but was only careless without any bad intent. Yet Republicans ignored than and spun off lies of their own.

Look, we already know the IG report will be bad for the FBI, but as I have been saying for a year now, don't expect a lot in the way of indictments.

The laws current laws are completely inadequate to prevent this kind of abuse of power, let alone prosecute those who engage in it.

The IG report, and what Durham finds will be appalling, and will shock many of the people that haven't followed all of this closely, but again, don't expect much in the way of indictments.

Sadly, the best we can hope for is that the government will release enough of the evidence of abuse of power, that they will be forced to enact legislation to ensure that this never happens again.

Oh no! So many Trumpers had their hopes up that Horowitz was going to uncover some huge Deep State conspiracy that was going to send Comey, Clapper, Brennan and Comey to jail. Nope, they'll all be cleared. OIG found a few things out of order on the paperwork, no big deal.

LOL, another failed and dead GOP conspiracy on the trash heap.
Uh, it was revealed last week that an associate of Strzok altered paperwork to change the meaning for the FISA warrant, so this is going to march on one way or the other.

Also, your premise is a bit flawed in that Trump is winning on all fronts, so it is not like we are desperate for indictments. Nor did I really expect them, as the bar is very high on these things. They would be nice, is all.

Let's say we wait and see what the report actually says.

A judgement that Comey had no legal right to render, which is one of the things being explored.

Again, a judgement that he had no right to render. He made a judgement on her intent, which is not his place to do.

And when the IG Report comes out and says there were no spies and it was all an elaborate hoax, you will condemn the report s being a product of the fictional deep state. You are all so predictable.

Someone with an agenda is leaking in an attempt to control the narrative.

If that's what it really says......

What's the point of leaking?

Yup...Maybe it was a Republican who leaked to throw the Dems off. We won’t know until the report comes out.

You don't need to prove "bad intent" to find someone guilty of gross negligence.
Recklessness alone is gross negligence.
