Trump came from the roughest job training in the world: the New York construction trade. His manners are sometimes missing. He can be coarse and a bully. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised that he has done exactly what he promised despite a hostile press,” Dowd wrote, slamming the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry as a “farce

There must be something wrong with that boy if he thinks Trump did exactly what he promised. I thought he promised to balance the budget in 10 years and build a wall to halt immigration. What world do these people live. He has cut some regulations but halting of both legal and illegal immigration was a failure.

Maureen Dowd writes a great column by the way, from 2 weeks ago.

Republicans may be winning the impeachment battle on Fox News but they are getting clobbered by the classy diplomats demonstrating true patriotism in the hearing room. Republican members of the Intelligence Committee risibly struggle to back up Trump on his demented conspiracy theory — belied by the consensus of the entire U.S. intelligence community — that it was Ukraine that meddled in the 2016 election to help Hillary, rather than Putin who meddled to help Trump.

I guess he never counted on democrats being so treasonous regarding immigration.

Maureen does this once or twice a year where she allows her conservative siblings contribute to her column.

You may not agree with Maureen Dowd but she is a great writer in my view. She is quite witty and can deliver a blistering attack when she wants. She is always a pleasure to read.
