I didn’t vote for Trump because I thought he was a Christian. He was the lesser of two evils and I still feel that he was.
When you have a choice similar to choosing between a tornado or a hurricane, you’re going to end up with a disaster either way. That being said, I’m pretty happy with the Supreme Court picks, so I’ll vote for him again unless the democrats put up someone that’s not a socialist or open borders person.
That's a rationalization, not a justification.
You could have voted third party, written someone in, voted for all offices except President, or you could have refrained from voting at all.

Trump is entirely the fault of the democrats rigging their convention to nominate that thing. That’s what makes the whole collusion thing laughable.
I think its a bit worse than that...its blasphemy technically, they are 'taking advantage' of a religious celebration, for their own reasons and changing it to be what they want it to be. The church is guilty of allowing this to go on, they need to be telling their congregation not to have anything to do with all the big sales or retail hype involved with christmas today, its that serious imo.
The church should also be calling out these big retail stores publicly and tell them to stop bastardizing the christmas holiday, maybe a stern public statement would be a wake up call to some christians today, these stores could not care less about the reason for the season, they are interested in making money/greed, pure and simple, its their only priority this time of year. They are doing the exact same thing the money changers did in Jesus time, and he became angry and threw them out physically because of it.
You have it backwards. Someone should call out the churches for usurping and bastardizing pagan midwinter holidays and traditions for their own purposes. Jesus wasn't even born in December according to history. It's the church that has taken over the season and branded it Christian for it's own nefarious purposes.
So pretend Christians spending billions of dollars on a pretend Christian religious holiday seems right to me.

The church needs to worry more about keeping kids safe from pedophile priests than people buying Christmas presents. And "blasphemy"? Maybe about time to leave the 15th century behind.

On a more serious note,I don't understand the extreme paranoia by some on the left of religious people and religious leaders. The Christian right is a part of the republican base but its hardly a majority, not even close.Reading some of the posts on here you'd think the US was a Christian version of Iran. I know A LOT of conservatives, and most of them aren't religious at all.
Roy Moore in Alabama, and much of Alabama politics as of late, if you want the mot easy to find recent examples. The 90s and 00s push to teach Intelligent Design in schools. Look up the Theonomy. Plus, Jerry Falwell, Sr., Pat Robertson, etc. - both their words and tone suggest that they would at least not mind a theonomic government. Mike Huckabee said that it's easier to "change the constitution that it is to change the word of the Living God" - this from a former state governor (Arkansas) and then presidential candidate.
