Who is the audience supposed to be - the NAACP?

Being conservative is not a racial movement. It's not black or white. It doesn't matter if white people are the audience. They aren't pulling any strings. All of that is other people's hangup.

I just want what's best for everybody and I am a Christian, and so conservative ideology seems to fit for me.
I don't care who supports what I believe in... black, white, Repub, Dem... don't care. If there is something better than comes along that works - great.

I think black folk in general are more conservative than many believe - and it comes out from time to time.

I love how you are taking bits and pieces of my statements to come up with a false interpretation. I would think that the primary fan base of black conservative movements would be other black conservatives. I also mentioned that there are level headed people and idiots on both sides. I mentioned nothing about the NAACP. And I said the TELEVISED black conservative movements (e.g. “Blexit”) seem to be white nationalism in black face. Sure white people will be in the audience but one would expect the PRIMARY audience to be other black conservatives and black libertarians.

Likewise, I can’t by law ban anyone of another race from posting in this thread. That said, I would expect the MAJORITY of the people posting to be black.

SJW logic: If it said "Whites" in the thread, it would be racist!

I don’t consider myself to be an SJW. I’m looking to have a dialogue with blacks of varying ideologies. To restate what I said in a post thread of mine, it seems that everyone wants to talk ABOUT black people but do not want to hear from black people THEMSELVES. They think that we are this endangered species that needs to be “rescued” from a plantation. They think we’re too stupid to know our own interests.

And I'm pretty sure any black conservative will tell you that. But for some reason that myth persists.

If black liberals don't want to hear our views, where should we go to have a voice?
You really don’t want to know. LOL

I definitely feel as if black conservatives do everything they can to appease white conservatives every chance they get. Not saying you in particular, but a lot of black conservatives sound like they hate their own people with a passion.

The black community has a myriad of issues to deal with, but I love my people and I’m not gonna bad mouth them just to give comfort to conservative non blacks. And believe me, they LOVE to see black conservatives rip black folks. I refuse to participate in it.

So true. Most of them don’t even know any black people, and it shows.

I believe we should revisit the idea of a Black Political Convention. I would be TOTALLY on board with a modern effort to resurrect this movement.

Why? What makes Black people so much more special than Asians, Hispanics, Native Americans and Whites? We have Michelle Obama cry about "white flight", but then Black people like you want some special convention just for you. Can't have it both ways.

Because of our peculiar history in this nation that is different from Asians, Hispanics, Natives and whites. It’s because people want to move away from us that we have no choice but to embrace each other.

By the way, are you sure you should be part of this debate?

Actually, we can have it any way we please. It’s our vote. We’re recognized our shared history in this country. African Americans are symbiotic, and it isn’t by choice. Our relationship with non blacks has been commensalistic at best. Of that we can certainly agree.

No one said that we were supposed to be “more special” to you. This isn’t about non blacks. It’s about us and us only. It doesn’t require any outside input.
