Delivering items to multiple people is far better than having each person go and drive to a few places for those items. That is one of many examples. Need more? We can get into the efficiency of their logistics system versus the fractured system of having and maintaining numerous stores.

But that's exactly what they do, they have individuals driving independent vehicles for quick delivery and when they have expedited orders they may be driving around a larges area rather than gathering orders for a specific area.

How much petroleum, rubber, lithium does it take to make 100,000 trucks?

And how much will be provided by China or India with their coal burning Industrial complex. Our left leaning members here have always been saying how on top of renewable energy the Chinese are. If that's the case why are they leading the world in new Coal plants Of course our Left leaning brethren support their Chinese system and believe their lies.

"100,000 trucks" how's that for increasing our carbon footprint, and how much of their products are shipped half way around the world from China.

Those trucks were going to amde whether electric or not, those products were going to be made and shipped, whether Amazon existed or not.

Amazon however, through their model, reduces the consumer end pollution, no need to drive to a few stores to get things. One delivery truck is delivering 100 packages instead of 100 cars going around getting the items. Giant warehouses store these items, instead of having numerous stores, along with the parking, infrastructure, etc, to support.

I understand some you all hate Amazon, that is fine, but to sit their and some how make the argument that having a logistics model like Amazon is somehow more environmentally harmful than the traditional consumer driven model is ridiculous.

They will never go after China directly. They know they’ll be put down fast either with a long sentence at hard labor or a bullet in the head execution style.
