the jury is still out on the "better president". presidents are evaluated in historical context. trump is still in office.

Both are great presidents. Although I had to pick Trump because he's the best president since I've been alive. (H.W. Bush was in office when I was born)

Interesting topic..
I agree w/an earlier post, it's premature (& unfair) to evaluate a presidency that is still in progress..

For the record, I would reiterate, Lincoln was so hated (& feared) in the South that his election was a direct (but not sole) cause for secession. Even as much as Trump has been hated.. his election didn't spark a mass exodus of states.. other points of comparison will be clearer to me after a full term (or two).

Lincoln waged a bitter civil war to uphold the Constitution, to prevent secession.

Trump violated the Constitution and his oath of office, and will be impeached by the House for it.

No comparison.

If there is one undeniable fact that can be derived from the poll it is this:

When it comes to the Republican Party,

Lincoln decency has been replaced by Trumpian vulgarity.

We are now living in what should be called The Age of Vulgarity.
