Obama's failed market first neoliberal policies destroyed America and made healthcare more expensive.
Why did Americans reelect a right wing president (Obama) who funneled more financial power to his friends on wall street?

Binge drinking, drug use, eating out 3 times a day is seen as normal these days. Many more people putting on strange facades these days also.
Rural areas rarely change, but the amount of superficial materialism in many major metropolitan areas is beyond belief. Many of the people putting the cherade going on buying sprees work for long-term insolvent companies.
Zero-interest rate policies, QE and other Obama/Yellen creations have caused massive inflation that is underreported because the inflation books are cooked.
ZIRP and QE has also unleashed a massive Keeping Up mentality where people are just completely overwhelming themselves with debt to put on a cherade.
There was a taste of superficial materialism from about 2003 to 2006 that was sort of interesting, seemed like around 2010 there was more of a humble nature to people in larger populated areas but the arrogance, materialism, fakeness, facades is far beyond anything that I have ever seen.
It's amazing how introverted people are these days also. In the 1980s and 1990s when I was growing up people were here, there and everywhere exploring out of the house now people are extremely introverted and stay at their homes and consume media more often then not.
I think this forum is very educational, but alot other social media causes significant amounts of stress, jealousy and a fantasy world that does not exist.
There is a tremendous amount of stress just to pay for the basics in many parts of the country. As the debt bubble pops it will be very interesting. Many people in metropolitan areas are over extended and using things like food, alcohol, hard drugs to cope with it all.
The Democrats also want a near completely service based economy which will collapse onto itself. America had a good thing going from the 1950s and 1970s with a good balance and lots of choices for jobs, living environments and the system wasn't overwhelmed like it is today.
