We did not need them, it was just grandstanding by Bush. There were also numerous non-NATO countries involved as well, did not need a NATO alliance for that assistance.
We did not need them just as we did not need them for Iraq, just as we do not have any NATO type alliance for the Pacific.

Well, he is a serious threat to the survival of this country and perhaps to the whole world. There's something else that doesn't seem to be mentioned here very often and that is the encouragement he has given to populist politicians in several other countries. Brazil, Hungary, Poland and Italy now have populist leaders that have come into power since Trump took office. The Prime Minister of the U. K., who is trying to ram Brexit down the throats of their people, is in actuality, a white nationalist. Bolsonaro in Brazil is known as the "Tropical Trump" for his nationalist and anti-environmental policies. He has declared war on the many indigenous people of that country. He and Trump speak highly of one another. One has to wonder how someone like Bolsonaro got elected, but then by looking inward at our own country, we have the answer. The big question is, why do people foist such disaster on themselves?

Your argument fails because I never claimed the USA won WW2 alone. That's just plain stupid. But we certainly did a lot of the heavy lifting, as well as the mass production needed to keep our allies well supplied and ready for combat.
The Russians clearly did most of the heavy lifting (and dying) in Europe, which is why they would have rolled right on over the Rhine and into Vichy France, where the Nazi French traitors would do what they do best and surrender. The only reason the Red Army stopped was because WE the USA were there. You clearly know little to nothing about this subject. Who exactly do you think defeated Japan? Did Australia do that?
You never did make any reasonable argument for what you think is incorrect, nor did you supply any facts to support whatever claim you are trying to make. You're just saying I am wrong and ending at that. Why bother commenting at all if you don't have anything meaningful to say? Very lazy response on your part, and not even worth a rebuttable.
