Apparently Boris Johnson is not the only one that wants to avoid Trump at the upcoming NATO summit.

Some of these leader’s apparently don’t want to soil their reputations by being seen with Trump.

They are learning what most Americans now know.

Everything Trump touches dies.

Sorry, but NATO needs America far more than America needs NATO, or the modern day equivalent of the failed "League of Nations". Both were impotent and unwilling to act, unless the target is some puny rag tag force that America could defeat on our own over the course of a weekend. NATO only seems interested in standing up to countries that have a military far, far weaker than their own. They shouldn't be using that as an excuse to drain wealth and resources from our nation, they have enough of their own to fight banana republicans and turd world countries, or whatever else they decide to pursue in the future.

We would be far better off using our money to fix America, particularly the infrastructure which is quietly rotting away. It wouldn't hurt to invest some in our own military as well. Obama's wars without end, along with inadequate funding, have taken their toll on our military, and now it is time to heal and repair. Hence, Trump has been ending wars, not starting more. I guess those European leaders are upset that America will not be taking them along for more military adventures/quagmires that have no end. Hopefully, we can give peace a chance, but that's a hard sell with today's hate filled liberals.

Good. They are like deadbeats avoiding the debt collector. Maybe they should start PAYING THEIR BILLS to NATO instead of relying on the U.S. to pay? Trump is finally holding them accountable for THEIR PROMISES.

Yet ANOTHER thread backfiring on the lunacy of the OP. Love it.

Exactly. He might actually confront them on defending their own borders and paying their own bills.

No wonder the cowards run the other way.

Russia's economy is not even as big as Texas. Why do we need NATO any longer ?

Under Trump, the Arsenal of Democracy is now the Arsenal of Surrender.

Jesus should have avoided Judas too, but in His case it was meant to be.

We contribute to NATO by maintaining our own military, which we would do with or without NATO.

Its a myth that we send tens of billions to NATO. We don't.

As for wars.......NATO is not involved in them, we are.

We COULD leave NATO. Trump has eroded trust between members to a point where some nations are not necessarily counting on US to do our part if there was a war. However, leaving NATO would not save us money. On the contrary we'd probably spend even more on military knowing there alliance is gone.

Trump has increased the funding of our military and entire Defense apparatus. They are stronger than ever. So what you are saying is not only wrong but RIDICULOUS.

Who are we going to surrender to?
