I thought Republicans were for free market capitalism? Or does that only apply when it comes to conservative business owners refusing service to the people they hate?

I think the lying with every breath media liars should be made to pay for their lies.
Republicans only care about their supposed principles when it's convenient.
Fundamentally they're authoritarians who want to police anything and everything they don't approve of.
But in case you haven't noticed the true (capitalized) Libertarians have been quietly displacing and eclipsing the "dinosaur" traditionalist Republicans for over twenty years.
The thing is: Both factions remain united in opposition to the socialism peddled to an ignorant lumpenproletariat, many of whom will eventually succeed and outgrow their enthusiasm for socialism.

Um, OK.
Do you have anything to say about the radio host who wants to nationalize social media?
BTW, I looked up Rick Wiles. He seems pretty right-wing to me. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Wiles Also in the news recently because he called the Trump impeachment an attempted coup led by Jews.
Also, his media organization TruNews (which I presume will be exempted from being nationalized), while not the most (in)famous corner of the internet, does have a following - https://www.similarweb.com/website/trunews.com

I've never heard of Rick Wiles, but that idea doesn't sound terribly "conservative" to me.

He called the impeachment of Donald Trump a "Jewish coup."
