Partly it's a numbers game. The Democrats haven't supported most of the available candidates. Only 4-5 of them have won significant support. If the field had been smaller, she would have had more opportunity to make herself noticed. That's not to say she would have won though -- you still need to earn the support.

Show of hands, how many people think that if she had won the nomination there would be thread after thread saying that she only won because she was a black woman, the Dems were pandering, playing identity politics, etc?

Is it because she's a woman, black or both?

Biden is a train wreck, but he's leading the pack. I guess they feel they had their token, and now it's back to white men.
Another post obsessing about race.

What's your problem?

The Democratic voters weren't interested in her policies or lack thereof. There goes your argument that people only voted for Obama because he was black.

Sexist and racist are just two of the least offensive crimes demonstrated by the hijacked democrat party

Taken as a whole, DNC is anymore racist/sexist than the GOP.

I think deep in the bowels of the DNC they know that a candidate like Harris wasn't going to win. She came out sorta strong in the beginning but the more she spoke the more she showed how unqualified she is.

I mean ol' Joe isn't doing well either, but the DNC wants to win badly and he's been polling the highest as of late.

I don't think racism or sexism has really anything to do with this at the end of the day. For them it's who can beat the Orange man.

Actually, it was ordinary D voters who were unconvinced by her campaign.
