People whining about Trump's support of the Saudis should read this 2016 article.

When push came to shove Obama was the most virulent defender of the Saudi regime, because he understood his administrations middle east policy.

Its why he supported them in Yemen and sold them the highest valued military equipment of any president ever. As they were stoning women, bombing children, and torturing rape victims Obama stood tall defending them.

Just like he stood tall defending wall street executives as they bought up defunct housing for families and shut down black businesses.

That did seem awkward for a second, because I thought it was referring to the Pensacola shooting. I was wondering, really, how could he defend that?

But then when it turned out to be an old article, no, no problem with that. The real problem isn't Obama, but the basic idea of our selling weaponry. At least with Obama there wasn't that embarrassing parade of flattery like for Trump, with his sword-wagging.

oh okay because we don't like what Obama did we should just give Trump a pass....because that's the logical way to do things.

So like to lead through plausible deniability (keep the saudis at a distance).

What's interesting is when the Saudis would have to face real consequences, that same temperance ended.

I would like Obama more if he stuck up for them now. He was a loyal friend, now when the going gets tough he is nowhere to be found.

It would tank his popularity as the establishment is trying to make Saudi Arabia a pariah state/ ally of Russia but I would respect Obama more.

But sadly Obama doesn't care what I think of him.

Trump must have a deal for a hotel in Saudi Arabia when he gets out of office.

So in Trumps mind if its good for Trump its good for us.

Twist? Obama has always been all about the Saudis. He even wears a ring with an Islamic inscription on it.

Obama doesn't just defend them, he bows to them. Do I have to post the picture again?
