It has quite a lot to do with re-election. Just as it had quite a lot to do with his election in 2016.

I voted for him, in part because I knew he would thrash Democrats up one side and down the other, not letting them get away with their usual lies, attacks, and coverups courtesy of the compliant media. And not because I wanted somebody "civil". It's exactly what the socialist Democrats need, and deserve.

And he has done what I wanted, in spades. I will be happy to vote for him again, so he can do it some more for the next four years.

What a town hires a new gunslinger to come in and drive out the bad guys, they don't hire him because he's "civil". Or "nice". They bring him in because they figure he can beat the bad guys, using their own tactics where needed. Trump has been the right guy at the right time. We need him for the next four years, just as we needed him for the first four.

I literally just said a prayer that Trump will be defeated in 2020. This country will be decimated by 4 more years of this ignorant crook.

I know Trump supporters really like his crass, low class style. What I wonder, is what in their makeup makes them desire such as him.

I'm not surprised. Votes certainly won't make it happen, the leftist fanatics don't have enough of them. Prayers are all they have left.

Not the country. The Democrat party may be decimated. But that's a good thing for the country, just as the last four years of advanci9ng economy, repeal of hundreds of Federal restrictions on innocent people, and reduction of the people's belief in leftist fanatics (in and out of the media) have been a vast benefit to the country.

Unsurprisingly, the leftists equate the Democrat party with "the people". As usual, they couldn't be more wrong.

Instead of just quoting my post, try reading it. The answer is there, for most normal people in the country.

What I read in your post is that you want a President who will “trash the Democrats.” But that doesn’t answer my question. What is the cause of your sense of grievance? Why are you so offended? Why do you need a bully President? Why are so many of you so angry?

So what will you do with your time after Trump is defeated in the 2020 election?

Hopefully, the Southern District of New York (SDNY) will bring charges against Trump for his many crooked deals, Guiliani included.

Yes, Trump did lots of Russian money laundering.

Well, that's where the term deplorable came from and the idea of backwards world.

As is doing the opposite of what good things the nation has done (environment, human rights, spending)....is the "right" thing to do!

You think we needed to raise the deficit to double....and to spend more and more for decade...to throw more people off health care, to pollute more, to appoint more swamp creatures and to all be more nasty to one another.

That's what you are saying (and more)...not what I am.

Trump is the ultimate swamp thing and crime boss, not the gunslinger. The gunslinger hits his target once in a while...whereas Trump was never a success. It's like a Video Game with "Game Over" after each bankruptcy and then he got fronted a few bucks to rinse and repeat....

You should consider your votes for the largest party - that of Independents - and not spend so much energy trying to "own libs". I'm pretty sure our founders and constitution were not designed to push the later.
