I heard a retired military big shot on tv this morning. The guy was vetted by the Saudis. In his opinion the SA was not properly supervised by his superiors and training staff. He also had a dinner party the night before and showed terrorist videos.
It is time the USA stop kissing the Saudis asses. Do we need money so badly we are willing to sacrifice our own kids in the military?
Also remember Saudis financed 9-11.
Reportedly he showed videos of mass shootings.
Those in attendance included civilians and fellow military in the US for training. It is unknown if all invitees were Saudis.
I cannot imagine how any attendee would find such videos to be appropriate. Does not appear a single attendee reported this to the base or LE- See something. Say something.
We need to do better screening, and have better supervision of these trainees when they come here. They should be confined to the base, with no ability to get weapons. They need to be under surveillance 24/7. No exceptions. I don't care if they feel like prisoners. If they want the training, they will put up with that environment.
Sure would be easier to discontinue training foreign militaries. I DK if most countries pay the US and if so, how much. DoD could answer this.
That a country is an ally, does not mean all of their military is, despite the sending country certifies they send the best of the best.
So does Trump personally vet each Muslim, or does he rely on the military and their procedures and systems already in place? Is Trump also responsible for you lack of education, reason, and rationality? Is everything Trump's fault?
As much as everything was Obama’s fault, then Bush, then Clinton....
Bull! We've had foreign Nationals training with us since forever. back in the day we had German pilots, Iranian pilots Canadian. Whatever country bought P3's from Lockheed sent it's guys through schools here in the US.
You made an obvious connection I missed.
Buy US war toys from the military industrial complex and the US will train your best and brightest.
Why is there not more coverage of this story? If this was done by a white supremacist or right wing radical it will be all over the news for weeks, like the attack in Charlottesville where ONE person was killed. But stories about Muslim terrorism are always swept under the rug. Just like when the Muslim who chain migrated here ran over SIX people in New York City there was hardly any coverage, when one right wing radical ran over one person in Charlottesville its still being obsessed over today.
Unlike Iran, I don't think the actual government of Saudi Arabia hates America but they do need to do a better job vetting their own military personnel since they've been infiltrated by jihadists several times.
Yes it would be, it would be a constant large headline. Also, they would throw in a blame for Trump on it.

But how many were from countries practicing one of the most radical, western-hating versions of Islam? A country where journalists are murdered for mere words?
It seems the FBI still can't find its arse with both hands and a flashlight. At least it wasn't the deep state and was foreign terrorists.
