First it's global cooling, then it's global warming, then it's climate change, now it seems like it's nothing more than just the weather... But the Democrats... Bless their little hearts, they are still chasing after those pesky narratives...
The Climate Alarmists have been telling us of an imminent Ice Age, then terrible warming causing global catastrophe, now intentionally using scarier terms like climate holocaust. None of it EVER COMES TRUE. Yet, many people continue to believe in this nonsense citing, biased bought and paid for pseudo science.
If we let this hoax and scam create even more public policy it will truly be a disaster.

We have been in an ice age for the past 2.2 million years. But according to past temperature patterns during that time, we are overdue for another glacial period. The glacial periods typically are followed by interglacial warming periods that are about 10,000 years long and this one has lasted 11,700 years now.
It's possible that human-caused global-warming is delaying it. So what would be worse for our survival, another glacial period or an extreme in warming? We may eventually get both, one following the other. There's nothing about all this that is simple and which can be easily explained or precisely predicted. For all we know, there might be extreme warming over the next few centuries and then the inevitable glacial period would begin.
A lot of this is driven by the gradual shift in the earth's orbit around the sun, which follows a repeating cycle, 405,000 years long. Also the gradual wobble in the earth's rotational axis goes through two of its own independent cycles and this will also cause shifts in climate in parts of the world. This action has been linked to the drying and desertification of the Sahara, which was once a tropical jungle. Antarctica was once tropical, as well.
Good post! My father was a geophysicist and I heard him say this my whole life. We had a mini ice age during the Dark Ages. There is a lot more evidence supporting this than man-made global warming!
