Actually, some of them have said he is worse than Hitler... I'm as curious as you are as to what evidence they could possibly have to support such an over the top claim, but they never seem interested in elaborating.

Depends on your definition of "stand". Everyone I know can't "stand him" on a personal level, and who would? He's crass and obnoxious. What you liberals fail to understand is that personality isn't the deciding factor: it's policies. And Trump's policies are 1) good for Jews and 2) decidedly better for America than what the socialists running for the Dem nomination are pushing.

By the way, I also am very involved with Jewish activities, as I attend Torah classes, go to Shabbat services, and participate in various activities consistently. The majority of Jews there like what Trump has done and plan to vote for him. (Of course, these are religious Jews very strongly identifying with their religion. Those tend to be Republican.)

By the way, would you mind telling me if you are a Reform Jew or a more religious Jew? I'm finding that the more religious Jews are pro-trump and the less religious anti-Trump, and I wonder if your level of observance confirms that. Thank you.

I haven't heard Democrats who aren't Jews call Trump anti-semite.

I've heard lots of criticism by Jews who are Democrats.....

https://www.newsweek.com/jewish-grou...emarks-1476116 American Jewish groups strongly criticized President Donald Trump for remarks he made at the Israeli American Council's National Summit in Florida on Saturday, calling the comments "anti-Semitic."

But not all Democrats.

I do believe the perception if Trump is good or bad for Jews depends on whether or not you voted for him.

Trump doesn't hate Jews -- except for those that didn't vote for him.“I think Jewish people that vote for a Democrat—I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty,

Yup Trump spoke and proved he really is anti-semantic.

I guess he lost a lot of votes with that speech.

Are you kidding me? We have non-Jewish Democrats coming out of the woodwork to call Trump an anti-Semite! In fact, in my experience, non-Jewish Democrats come down pretty hard on any Jew who dares support Trump, asking how a Jew can support an anti-Semite. I MYSELF have been called a Nazi for voting for Trump, accused of supporting someone who despises Jews. (And yes, it was a gentile who called me that. That's how bad some of these Trump-hating Democrats are.)

As far as your quote, that is from Newsweek - an extremely liberal, anti-Trump publication. Consider the source.

I hear Trump and think of another Queens reality resident. Archie Bunker comes to mind. A stereo-type all the way.

Hates people who were different, that's Trump.

Really? I find that leftists hate people who are different: those who don't agree with them. The venom spewed, and actual physical attacks made, at and toward conservatives is beyond the pale. I, for example, will not put a Trump-supporting sign on my front yard for fear that liberals will smash my windows. (They've marched through the neighborhood before, cussing at the top of their lungs, that we should have open borders. They're CRAZY around here.)

Trump should be playing Archie Bunker in the upcoming live version. He would have no problem with the part. He fits right into it.
