You folks seem to be itching for a coup or a civil war. We are not a banana republic, we don’t throw our leaders in the pokey.

Good.

Subpoena Adam Schift for the Senate Trial and lock him up so he doesn't try to escape to Mexico.

While Moscow Mitch leaves over 300 bills passed by the House on his desk. I don't think so.

They are looking for a crime .. like the KGB.

Congress as a whole is more powerful than the executive branch.

Equal but different powers. That's called separation of powers, doncha know? The president doesn't have the power to impeach officially appointed federal employees. The Congress is given that authority by the constitution. The president is a federal employee.

So your argument that both branches are co-equal is right but not in the way you want it to be. Congress can impeach the president but the president doesn't have the power to dissolve or impeach the congress.
In that respect congress has the upper hand.
After all, congressional politicians are elected by the people to serve the interests of their district(Senators are elected to serve their state's interest)
Like any individual CEO he would be called before the board of directors to decide his fate.

Unless of course Trump goes full autocrat.

The BS story did come from the idiots at the NY Times.

And apparently some still believe those liars without thought or question.

When you call somebody a liar, it's very important to be able to prove it. Traditionally, on the spot.

Give us some real time examples of NYT habitually lying.

Anything will do.

Wrong.. The Executive Branch has equal power and the house has limited power under the Constitution. They are overstepping their power and now it is abuse of that power according to the Constitution. The Constitution says everyone has rights to due process. The democrats are abusing the Constitution on that grounds.

No, it's a discussion of what the Congress can do. The House was pretty crazy back in the 1840's to 1900.
Elegant ways to insult your opponents. Along with threats to members of administration's of jail if subpoenas not responded to.

It does not mean that Trump will be thrown into a jail cell under the Capitol building.

Dear I know better than trying to convince the delusional. Anyone who believes the MSM without thought and question at this point, given 2 full years of Russiagate, and all the rest fits that description. It's not worth my time to give you links that are out there for anyone to see.

If you really think they are an honest rag, then please, have at it. That is that congress has the power to send storm troopers into the WH to drag out Trump as implied by that OP. hahahaha

(I blame 30 years of the department of education control over local schools)
