Lindsey Graham already disabused House GOP extremists of the notion that Schiff is going to be called to testify. Unlike Representatives, Republican Senators do not have the benefit of extremely gerrymandered districts and have to conduct themselves in a manner that will avoid further alienating suburban swing voters and educated white people. Turning the Senate trial into a three ring circus would not play in their favor in the medium or long term.
