With the IG Report out, the bigger picture.

1) Team Mueller (Weissmann, Van Grack, etc.) pursued an obstruction case against Trump - when they knew the underlying investigation was based on lies, omissions, and altered evidence.

2) IG was wrong to say there was no evidence of "bias" or "intentional misconduct"

Powerful circumstantial evidence: all these "failures" worked to further the goal of FISA renewals.

Rather than taking this serious matter seriously, Republicans were acting as if they were all auditioning for a spot of Fox.
If this was happening in Russia with the KGB, we’d call it a coup.

Anyone who would still defend the FISA warrants of Carter Page after the Horowitz report is deceiving themselves or you. There’s no defending it. Nunes was right about that. Schiff was wrong.

Actually it was Horowitz that did the Investigation and Report into Clinton.
He's a big believer in protecting the status quo and the system.

That's why many knew why this report would say what it did... Yes people are guilty but it was not that bad.

This is hilarious!

How many times have we heard the FBI was supposedly anti-Trump?

'S--- just got real': DOJ watchdog uncovers pro-Trump text messages between FBI agents after 2016 election
Quote:
The Justice Department's watchdog said it uncovered a series of text messages between two FBI agents cheerleading President Donald Trump's victory in the 2016 election.

"Trump!" one FBI agent said on November 9, 2016. "Hahaha. S--- just got real," another replied. "Yes it did," the first agent said.

The second agent responded: "I saw a lot of scared MFers on ... [my way to work] this morning. Start looking for new jobs fellas. Haha."

The texts were revealed in the inspector general Michael Horowitz's highly anticipated report on the origins of the FBI's Russia investigation. The report, published Monday, debunked many of Trump's conspiracy theories about anti-Trump bias among top brass at the FBI and the Justice Department.

Brennan lied & Comey spied.
The IG report is a huge blow to Trump and Barr's conspiracy theory. Barr should be impeached right along with Trump. They are complete discredited hacks.

The report indicated they didn't "act with bias", not that they didn't have a political bias.

If that were the case, Carter Page would be guilty of something.

But their actions show they did have a lot of bias. Especially the lovers texts.......

What did we learn?

Trump told a bunch of lies that were debunked by the report. He should apologize to the many people whose careers he hurt or destroyed. He won't.

The FBI made some procedural errors which had no impact on the conclusions of the report. The people whose careers were hurt or destroyed by those errors paid, or will pay, a price for their behavior.

For a great summary of the report and its impact, listen to Comey's interview from last night. He summarized it cogently.

Comey is the last person anyone should be listening to. How pathetic that he's your go-to guy. Says a lot about you, and it isn't good.
