I just don't understand why Democrat politicians are so stupid... they could have won in a landslide against Trump, but their decision to focus on impeachment and their handling of impeachment is making them look so guilty and making me think Biden is just as corrupt if not more corrupt than Trump. The process of the impeachment also seems manipulated and not seeking the truth by the constant prevention of allowing Republicans to ask questions. If Democrats make me decide between Biden or Trump, I'll choose Trump or to just sit out the election. Democrats should be saying, yes Biden is corrupt just like Trump, instead of blocking any mention of it.

Meanwhile the government will shutdown on the 21st.

But impeachment is more important.

History will look back at this and laugh. "How in the hell was it possible to have no one who could beat Donald Trump?"

It should have been an easy win. Instead - lets play games and not do our jobs. it totally amazes me that Donald trump is the best the republicans have to offer and someone who cannot beat him without playing games that make the party look desperate is the best the Democrats have to offer.

Maybe we just don't pay the president enough? Why are there no decent people to apply for the job?

Democrats are always going to let you down. They care only about power and nothing more. Plus, they don't have a case against President Trump in impeaching him other than their own bitterness in a 2016 election result that did not go their way.

And why in the hot fudge do you not like Trump anymore, anyway? He's not a politician, and he was elected by the American people to drain the swamp. He's doing that.

President Trump has refused his salary. When he ran for office, he was tired of weak Republicans not fighting back. It was also his way of giving back to the country which he truly loves. Many people are still not understanding why he ran, but here was that explanation, plain as daylight.

And do you really expect today's Democrats to fight fairly? They're not going to anymore.

Biden aside what are the facts in the complaint and what is myth?

Only thing you mention is Republicans not being allowed to ask questions; which is a myth. 45 min -1 hr long questioning blocks alternate between majority and minority, per requirements of procedure.

Or Republicans can’t call witnesses? The minority doesn’t get that power until after articles of impeachment have been voted on. During Clinton’s, the GOP called the witnesses but made a concession the Dems could call a witness... but the majority had the option to block them.

Majority of posters here don’t understand the process. For starters anyone saying the dems “don’t have a case†are a prime example. It’s nothing like the courts for us.

You are soooo Spot On with your assessment of President Trump. Rough edges, yes. Polished politician, hell no. But then we don't want more of the same o'.....

Viva Mr. Trump. America salutes you, and history will wash away all the dung the DemocRATS are slinging at you to present the truth.

His irrational tweets that shoot the market up and down on a daily basis, his personal grievances getting in the way of properly legislating (choosing microsoft instead of amazon because Bezos said mean things to him), isolating us from our allies, turning our backs on the kurds... I don't hate Trump, I'd still vote for him over Clinton... but I'm not a person that is sentimental about people. Trump's thin skin or whatever it is has lost him my support. I've lost respect for both parties.

Even if Biden was guilty, Trump should have instructed US law enforcement to assist in investigating Biden, not a foreign country. If Trump was so worried about corrupt, why didn't the GOP investigate the 2 years they controlled the House? Trump waited until Biden entered the presidential race. Trump didn't even mention Ukraine corruption on the call. Trump is guilty. He should have been impeached a long time ago. He paid off porn stars with campaign fiances and lied yet the GOP had no problem impeaching Clinton. Trump obstructed justice while welcoming foreign interference. He is the most treasonous president in history.
