U.S. Tax Revenue by Year
  • FY 2020 - $3.64 trillion, budgeted.
  • FY 2019 - $3.44 trillion, estimated.
  • FY 2018 - $3.33 trillion.
  • FY 2017 - $3.32 trillion.
  • FY 2016 - $3.27 trillion.
  • FY 2015 - $3.25 trillion.
  • FY 2014 - $3.02 trillion.
  • FY 2013 - $2.77 trillion.
Has tax revenue ever decreased aside from depressions and recessions. Take a close look at the difference in your post between 2017 and 2018. The 2017 tax cut resulted in an increase of 10 billion yet we reduced revenue by $1T, do you think we would have been in better shape without the tax reform bill.

Federal spending on medical now exceeds military spending. The political nitwits don't understand the problem. It isn't a question of "Who will pay" it is a question of WHY the costs are double any other developed nation. There are laws already on the books that would help but since the politicians are bought & paid for by lobbyists they have no desire to act.

What do you not get about it's both parties?
In Trump's first two years, he had BOTH houses of congress controlled by the republicans, and his budget deficits still went up.

You can question all you want, that doesn't make it incorrect. I didn't see where you presented any data that said otherwise. You try again.

the TEA party (Taxed Enough Already) most certainly would have allowed the lowering of taxes for everyone like the 2017 bill under President Obama

what they would NOT have allowed is the discriminatory way that liberals constantly want to tax the rich, and tax "others" at an unequal rate

your math does not make the cut

explain how a 10b increase is equal to a 1t decrease

revenues have gone up every year,,,including after ALL the tax cuts by Kennedy, Reagan, WBush, and now Trump

"republicans want cuts to social security, we need to protest"
So what if they cry.

Republicans had control of Congress and the executive branch and raised spending.
