FY 2019 - $3.44 trillion, estimated.
FY 2018 - $3.33 trillion.
FY 2017 - $3.32 trillion.
FY 2016 - $3.27 trillion.
FY 2015 - $3.25 trillion.
FY 2014 - $3.02 trillion.
FY 2013 - $2.77 trillion.
Has tax revenue ever decreased aside from depressions and recessions. Take a close look at the difference in your post between 2017 and 2018. The 2017 tax cut resulted in an increase of 10 billion yet we reduced revenue by $1T, do you think we would have been in better shape without the tax reform bill.
Federal spending on medical now exceeds military spending. The political nitwits don't understand the problem. It isn't a question of "Who will pay" it is a question of WHY the costs are double any other developed nation. There are laws already on the books that would help but since the politicians are bought & paid for by lobbyists they have no desire to act.

The Tea Party stands front and center as the largest hypocrites bar none. They would have never allowed a tax cut like in 2017 if Obama was president but now neither deficits or spending matters.
the TEA party (Taxed Enough Already) most certainly would have allowed the lowering of taxes for everyone like the 2017 bill under President Obama

revenues have gone up every year,,,including after ALL the tax cuts by Kennedy, Reagan, WBush, and now Trump
