Right-wing pundits have joked about murdering people on the left for years. In the 1990s, talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh quipped, "I tell people: 'Don't kill all the liberals. Leave enough so we can have two on every campus—living fossils—so we will never forget what these people stood for.'" His words were echoed recently by the neo-Nazi Chris Cantwell, who ranted in a Gab post that leftists should face "complete and total destruction." Memes and jokes about "free helicopter rides" for leftists like Bernie Sanders have become common on the right as well. This is a reference to Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet, who murdered some of his left-wing opponents by throwing them from helicopters....
It's obviously impossible to draw a direct line between words like Limbaugh's and actions like Houser's. But we know that violent language and violent fantasies are often used to create a climate in which beatings and even murder are permissible. In his 2017 book, Alt-America: The Rise of the Radical Right in the Age of Trump, David Neiwert discusses Limbaugh and Howser, and notes that rhetoric like theirs reflects a politics of "eliminationism ... whose goal is to excise whole segments of the population in the name of making it 'healthy.'" When Nazis compared Jews to rats, they were dehumanizing a targeted population in order to prepare the country to accept the need to exterminate them.
Adolf Hitler's prejudice against Jewish people is widely understood and condemned today. But his parallel and rabid hatred of leftists is less frequently broached in popular discussions of the Second World War. Yet the two hatreds were deeply intertwined. The scholar Robert Paxton has noted that fascism was distinguished specifically by "an anti-liberal, anti-socialist, violently exclusionary, expansionist nationalist agenda." In his book Mein Kampf, Hitler is obsessed with what he called "Bolshevist-Jewish" Communism. Hitler hated leftists because he saw them as Jewish, and Jews because he saw them as leftists.

I have noticed this on here often, people on the right get all excited with fantasies of how if we do this or we do that
(Impeach President Trump or remove him for office no matter how valid our concerns)...or the irrational fear the Liberals will break down their doors and take away their guns) that they will take to the streets and start killing/shooting Liberals, because after all I have been told 'they would win, they have all the guns'.
(they clearly do not know many of the Liberal people that I know...however I don't think they have any inclinations of
rushing out into the streets and shooting people with MAGA hats on....I am not sure how the far right people would
be able to determine the Liberal Americans from the Conservatives ones....but that is a discussion for another day and another topic!)
I realize part of all this is probably fantasy or threats not based in reality...but why so often do we hear reactions like this. Don't you find it concerning? Why would anyone want to take to the streets and kill other American citizens?
Don't they realize that Martial law would be declared and the Military and National Guard would be called out to dispatch of them? Why so paranoid? Why so Lawless?
How will our Country ever heal and come back together in Unity with such extremism going on?
Okay Jessie Smollet, the real irony is the fictious Rush Limbaugh quotes made up to create to make disunity and then make a claim for unity. The left really has a mental illness.
Our country is almost gone. Four more years of Trump and we will be no better than a banana republic. Trump demonizes the free press ,FBI and anyone who disagrees with him. His followers think they’re draining the swamp. They all need to Wake the F up.
Even during all the turmoil in the 60-70 IDK of anybody who considered their fellow citizens evil people who need killing.
Is it paranoia, no respect for law and order or just meanness?
The comments here are not to convince or change others minds about issues. Most of the time it's gotchas and hateful comments. Makes me doubt my own sanity for participating. But it helps to know what others believe.

And I know this thread will be flooded with "Leftists are the real violent ones" and "What about ANTIFA?" posts, but the far right currently dominates the USA politically, NOT the far left.

Actually its a repeated thing that leftists do, and the puppet masters rely on people the lower class, and dumb**** younger people who don't know better to act in violence.
