No, of course not. I am all for hunting for food. To kill for sport so that one can add a trophy of a dead animal to their collection, nope. There is no "sport" in someone with a weapon hunting down an animal with no hope of recourse. Everything with life wants to live, survive even if it's just by instinct.
I believe that God gave man dominion over the animals that He created for us to be good stewards of them. To need food or even clothing at some point in time is one thing. To hunt for food even now in these times is understandable and I don't have a problem with it. To hunt just to say that you have a dead animal skin to stuff and display is imo offensive. And honestly, as conservative as I am, I just don't understand that mindset.
Just like everything else, he paid for a service that was legal....like all hunting, most everything gets used one way or another....
