It’s been a challenge for Mayor Pete to get support from the African American community, specifically in the South. Will enough people show up to vote for Buttigieg like they did for Obama if he’s ultimately the nominee?

Nope.....not unless he offered something enticing, but he would never be able to deliver on the promise....so no. To make things worse....he has "butt" in his name. Oh hell no....that's rubbing it in. I am just not ready for those optics.

Pete’s dad was from the archipelago of Malta and apparently Buttigieg is a common name there. Who cares if there’s “Butt” in his name? Grow up

I was just being factious....that is my nature. Anway, I don't really care what his name is.....but I do care what type of optics a gay president would bring. If not for the optics, I would be totally OK with it. If he were gay and never let America witness anything gay......I would be okay with it. I don't want to see a the president his first man holding hands walking to air force one. Of course, if it happens it just happens....I would just turn the TV off...don't watch it much anyway.

Nope. No black agenda, he had that fiasco in Indiana where he got rid of the black cheif who was investigating police brutality and swept it under the rug. Using a Kenyan stock picture for that black support ad. Nope, I won't be at all. He's such a corporate neo-lib fraud. Doubt the guy is even gay IRL but probably just pandering to the LGBT crowd to get votes.

I wouldn't vote for a Democrat. I wouldn't vote for an open homosexual, so no.

Not Black, but just to chime in it doesn't matter because we aren't going to have a "President Buttigieg" in this nation at any point in the future. I'm reasonably politically engaged and I'd have trouble picking Candidate Butt out of a line up. Think of how much worse it is in regard to the lack of awareness of all of the people that the Dems would need to vote. Given the current Dem candidate line-up, they may as well save this nation a year of drama and embarrassment at the hand of its press and award Trump his second term. We could all use an intermission in the ongoing drama theater, I'm sure.
