I love Wyoming. If there is a gad then Wyoming would be evidence of god's existence. The people are friendly, good neighbor mentality. I lived a third of my life there, no regrets.
The air is clean, wild life is abundant, and crime is very low. Crime like taxes in Wyoming is very low and reasonable. I can certainly think of worse places to live and St. Louis is one of them. So is Illinois, CA, Detroit, NY and Texas.
LOL, you mention apples and oranges yet do the more egregious example of a flawed comparison! You compare population density of cities compared to that of an entire state!
Wasn't the OP comparing an entire state to a city?
OP also created another thread comparing UT and WY to Oakland. I actually pointed out on that thread that NYC has a lower crime rate than Cheyenne, WY, and you guessed it no response from the OP on that one.

The only point is: we need to send more people to live in Wy.
Way to few people/ sq. mile.
In fact lets send more people to whatever place the OP wishes to compare.
I had a friend who lived in WY and she said it was kinda like the old west around there. People looked out for each other and had their own brand of justice. She told me once when a local was known to be beating up his wife, the men in the town got together and roughed him up good making him think twice about ever doing that again. And the cops turned a blind eye.
