There will always be deniers, however this is what Wikipedia says about Global Warming which I believe...
Once you use the term "denier" you have pretty much destroyed any credibility you may have in discussing this topic. Those that question global warming typically do not question whether the globes temperature has increased and they may even agree man has had an affect. What they may question is the reliability of the data, the reliability of how much affect man has had and the hysterics.
True, it is a real testament to America's educational prowess, and the social capital of core Americans, that it can get such good results despite having a huge criminal underclass.
A skilled, educated society is a BETTER society...
We spend more more per student than most western nations, the exception is small rich ones like Switzerland. If you live in the northeast most are exceeding what a country like Switzerland spends. Are you getting your money's worth?
Americans hate science? Where you get that from? The US leads the world in science and research. Top scientists and people studying to become scientists, flock to the US to engage in this.

Yes, for those students that actually go to school and pursue higher education...which is discouraged on here...

Okay Boris...I'll call you a climate change "skeptic" as not to offend your semantics, Thank you...

We rarely see the reasoned skeptic position here in this forum though. The majority of posts are rants that could fairly be judged as science denial.

True...would like to see that side from the "skeptics" as well...usually leads to "denial". Time to solve problems rather than just taking extreme sides and going "round and round" getting nowhere. Some compromise on both sides of issues and even taking the middle ground would be a constructive step in the right direction...one can only hope!
Skeptical of one science topic, not science in general, seems to be a more accurate description. A person can have doubts about MMGW, but still believe the Theory of Relativity for example.
Nowadays everyone seems to think the King James Bible is the only science textbook anybody needs.
Everyone? I don't think so.
