Another question. Why do you attack and denigrate MSM just because they only mention these routine and expected activities of a president on whatever page it should be relegated to, and not on page one? Just because pro-Trump social media turns every hat wearing Trump action into walking on water, it doesn't mean real journalists and the real news are out to get you and yours or Saint Donald. It doesn't mean Trump actually walked on water, you know?

The Army and Navy academies are looking into hand signs flashed by students that can be associated with “white power" and were televised during the Army-Navy football game on Saturday, school officials said.
Cadets at West Point and midshipmen at the Naval Academy in the stands both appeared to display the sign during the broadcast, officials with the two military academies told The Wall Street Journal. The gesture was seen during an ESPN broadcast segment.

I often ask that same questions about celebrities, but liberals love worshipping their Hollywood darlings.
I have the same question as you regarding following the activities of celebrities. Many people do buy those National Enquirer papers, Hollywood fan magazines and follow and worship and attempt to emulate those reality TV stars. That is indeed equally puzzling. Are they all liberals, though? Donald Trump was a media star once upon a time wasn't he?
But the head scratching part of your post is your what about as if fraudulently claiming all liberals love worshipping Hollywood is somehow a response to my questions. It is not.
My question was to a self professed Trump person and others who have specifically proclaimed their adulation to a specific politician, named Trump; not about every politician and not to every person who identifies as conservative. Or are you saying every person in our country who leans conservative in their politics thinks Trump walks on water and deserves to have every activity of daily living on page 1?

Everyone with a fully functional brain knows that is a game commonly played in the military and elsewhere in which you make that sign below the waist and if someone looks into it, you get to hit them. A few years back, 4chan started a rumor that it was a white power hand sign just to troll people stupid enough to believe it. That's never actually been a thing.
4chan could tell knuckledraggers on the left that the thumbs up sign was racist and they'd probably believe that as well. Dumb people are dumb. It's just how it goes.
