How do you figure that. So what is the Republican governor doing about this.

Even in the US, all the wealthiest states are politically dominated by democrats.
Those states all first boomed when they were Republican majority. California has become more Democrat as more poor legal and illegal immigrants moved in .... most of them vote Democrat.

The 'New South" cities were the cities with the most Republican transplants.

All of the high crime areas in SC vote Democrat bigly. This fact doesn't match up with your liberal utopia thing.

San Fran is known for human waste and drug needles on the streets.

Racially Nordic states are now the antithesis of conservatism? That's a twist. Hitler might laud your particularly cunning propaganda.

What's next? Soviet Russia, as the most antithetical example of recent historical prosperity in the European sphere, was conservative and not communist?

Did anyone tell the progressives that you can't literally dictate observable reality, or did that last grip on sanity truly vanish right before "fluid gender" started to be sincerely promoted?

What is he supposed to do.

Why do leftwingers demonize rich people all day and welfare expansion if your base isn't dominated by poor people.

GOP talks about tax cuts because their base is middle class and wealthy.

Oh please.

They are wealthy now. And they are democratic.

And that is precisely the point I made before about Greta Thurnberg and Sweden:

This girl is exactly the kind of person you get when you have a wealthy, prosperous society like Sweden.

When you have a wealthy, prosperous society like Sweden, the people in that society start to think of things besides their own immediate wants and needs ... because, they don't have all that many wants and needs anymore. So they start thinking about the wants and needs of other peoples, and the wants and needs of the broader planet outside their own borders.

Liberalism is the inevitable result of prosperity.

The more the conservatives here cheer on the prosperity of the US, the more they are ultimately cheering on the inevitable Swedenization of the political beliefs of Americans.
Take Colorado.

It used to be republican when it was growing and when it was more of a middle income state.

Then it got wealthy. Thus, now it is a liberal democratic state.

Colorado is Sweden.

The more Colorados we get, the more Swedens we will get.

Anyone who believes you can have the prosperity of a Colorado, or a Massachusetts, or a Washington, or a California, and be conservative, lives in a fantasy world.

California was wealthiest state in country when Reagan became governor of it in the 1980s.

What's changed is the state has been flooded by poor immigrants who have socialist viewpoints and vote Democrat.

The rich people in a blue state do not discount all the poor people and poor people are the people most supportive of big government.

He's supposed to govern his state and enrich it. He's supposed to bring in companies who will employ people who need jobs. What do you think a governor does if not that.
