Supreme Court appears unlikely to hand victory to gun rights backers in 2nd Amendment case

After the Supreme Court agreed to take up the case, the city repealed the ordinance and the New York State Legislature passed a law prohibiting local governments in the state from enacting similar restrictions.

Exactly as it should be

Muzzle-loading cannons themselves, however, are – remarkably – not deemed to be firearms in the U.S. and are therefore not regulated

It is surprisingly quick to load with one guy.

One can own a grenade launcher too but it might be pricey. Now THERE is a deer hunters dream.

Good gawd, man...! Go shoot a gun sometime before you opine on the subject.....Carbines are generally not powerful. And a 9mm...? Get real. If you want anyone to ever take you seriously, you need to stop spouting BS like you do. You might gain some support if you knew what you were talking about. Really.....

Small ones taht could be mounted stationary and employed like a large shot gun might be used by an individual... but come on, It takes multiple people to operate on let alone move one. It's not arms in the traditional sense.

That why it's not arms ... the regulation of such weapons is governed by common law and regulated.
"That why it's not arms ." You lost ALL credibility with that.

Jefferson even bought some(semi-autos) and GAVE them to civilians, Lewis and Clark.

He also "hired" private warship owners because the U.S didn't have enough.

^^^^^This. Private entities and citizens were allowed to have major implements of war. Now we are much more restricted, but if you have the cash, and a clean background you can still buy artillery, tanks, etc.
