In my 20's I was drinking heavy 3 and sometimes 4 times a week. I dont do that anymore mostly because everyone got married and had kids, no more drinking buddies and I never drink alone.

Cigarettes however are a bad habit I have not been able to stop.

You have to want to stop. And then you get someone to throw away all your cigs and make sure none come into the house. It's a terrible addiction and you are a slave to it. I was lucky--I had a boyfriend at the time who watched me like a hawk and I was too embarrassed to bum cigarettes off other people when he wasn't around.

We don't have to choose between cigarette prohibition and alcohol prohibition. We can have both!
