Just give Trump cabal and his republican groupies time to rewrite/interpet laws more to their liking and it is gonna be law&order again.

The DNC is "rewriting law" to, "We will find a crime or accuse you of not cooperating in finding a crime."

Zero evidence of a crime.

The argument that the impeachment is a joke is brilliant! Hadn't heard that one before. One has to wonder how any other comments or threads, facts or opinions need be considered.

Wish I could stay and play, but I've got to sign off now. Keep up the great partisan dogma! Few do it as well as you seem inclined, and I'll try to get back to this fun maybe again tomorrow...

Again, what is the specific evidence of a specific crime?

Yes, and what was World War II all about? It about defeating Hitler, Mussolini and Hirohito. And what did all three have in common? They were all right wing populist nationalists. The dark clouds of reactionary nationalism are gathering over the U.S. and Europe. Let's hope we don't have to fight that fight again.

Yeah, they made a bunch of mistakes, lied to the FISA court, etc...but they meant well and they're patriotic and dedicated, so shut up Trump, Barr and Giuliani...the FBI rulez all!

His bottom line seems to be "nobody needs to watch the watchers, noting to see here, move along. Oh, and Orange Man Bad."

That you agree with it speaks to your glaringly obvious partisanship that love to try and hide behind some veil of neutrality and independence. Dude, you're a Team Blue liberal and cheer for Team Blue. Admit it, since we all know it anyway.
But I've got to sign off now!

I've got no bones about admitting which side I'm on, and no doubt I lean liberal. Certainly not Republican, but again the point of this article and/or thread is where or how we should be able to agree like we were better able to do in the past despite our political differences. This is what you don't seem to understand or lean toward promoting as you and others bring on the same old tired political partisan comments rather than simply recognize what is broken and what needs fixing for ALL our sakes.

No hiding or veil on my part mister, but nice try to make this thread and exchange more the sort of mud wrestling you prefer. Maybe we can do better tomorrow, but I have about as much faith in that as I do the end of poverty and peace on Earth.

In that spirit, cheers!

Hitler and Mussolini were control freaks who spouted off about wealth inequality, workers rights and the evils of capitalism as they took away rights from people as they expanded government control.

Basically, today's left.

Feel free to consult US Code, SCOTUS and circuit court case law, and anything else you prefer to ind the explicit crime of "obstruction of Congress." Contempt of Congress, yes. Obstruction of justice, yes. But obstruction of Congress? Nope, not until this impeachment because if they went for anything already defined in US Code and case law, they have no case and they know that.

And they didn't make a new law that created the crime and wrote it into the US Code, because making laws requires the Senate and the White House to become official. So the charge is a made up non-crime that is purely for political theater, same as the rest of the impeachment process. When it gets even slightly more legal treatment in the Senate, it will fail, and rightly so.
You gave a link that explicitly states that obstruction of Congress is a violation of federal law and even cites the US Code section which btw, dates back decades, long before Trump was in office.

From YOUR link, emphasis mine

Quote:
Obstruction of justice is the impediment of governmental activities. There are a host of federal criminal laws that prohibit obstructions of justice. The six most general outlaw obstruction of judicial proceedings (18 U.S.C. 1503), witness tampering (18 U.S.C. 1512), witness retaliation (18 U.S.C. 1513), obstruction of congressional or administrative proceedings (18 U.S.C. 1505), conspiracy to defraud the United States (18 U.S.C. 371), and contempt (a creature of statute, rule and common law). All but Section 1503 cover congressional activities.

They were all left wing globalist Marxists (socialist) (fascism is socialism lite). The dark clouds of reactionary globalism are gathering over the U.S.
