The women who have risen to the top have needed to be exceptional, so naturally they make good leaders. It remains to be seen what will happen in the long run as opportunity evens out.
if he believes that, like he says he does, why the hell did he try to beat Hillary for the nomination in 2008? And why didn't he have a female VP?
My guess is he's sensing some kind of populist pushback against the idea that women make just as good leaders as men.
