A lot of people are going to need to die before the government will fix this country's health care financial system. Any volunteers?

Seems to make sense that you should not be forced to purchase something from a private company. Will be interesting to see if we get single payer will the court find it unconstitutional to be able to buy private insurance outside the govt source.

ACA could be simply changed to sliding scale Medicaid combined with decreased deduction for businesses that provide insurance for employees combined with these employees paying some income tax on the actuarial value of their health plans.
No need for hyperbole.

If this fails then what. When the red states challenged the law they probably thought they wouldn't have the White House, now they own this if it kicks 40M people off healthcare.

Still in the courts awaiting final ruling, what's their plan.

I don't see anyone proposing that solution.

I don't see why that would be unconstitutional. A person could decline the service from the government and purchase it on their own. The problem is being forced to buy a product from a private company. I'm torn on car insurance myself. A big part of me doesn't think it should be required but if it wasn't, everyone's rates would skyrocket.

Because you don't get lobbying money from insurance companies and unions if you upset the status quo and propose this.
