Hence why gangs rarely hack little girls to death. For every little girl hacked to death theirs another 30 gang members, who are shot or stabbed etcetera. Gang members are violent people do not everything they do makes logical sense, but generally the poster is right most gangs kill other fans to gain fottholds in over gang territory and expand customer base. After a while though the beefs stop being over drug territory and more over you killed my cousin, uncle, brother, best friend etc.

I think you've got an error in there.

Of course, they don't want opposition, because opposition could lead to loss of standing which could lead to loss of income.

The difference between Africian-Americans and Asian-Americans in crime rates, income, & wealth are HUGE. Why?

What are the root causes for this wide difference?
There are a lot of factors that go into this data. Data can be affected if the police are singling out one group of people over another too. Sometimes its cultural differences too. A black kid who recently immigrated from Barbados might be less inclined to crime than a Latino kid who recently immigrated from Maracaibo, Venezuela.

The thug and gangland culture may not exist exist even if two people look the same.

It also depends on where gangs exist. If a strong and aggressive gang exists in certain neighborhoods of a city, those kids will be pressured, enticed and coerced to join. With a justice system which seeks to punish everyone, all it takes is for a young kid to get talked into crime, and get caught, punished, stigmatized, and ostracized by society, and the gang may have just created a new member.

Recognizing the reason behind the crime doesn't mean that people shouldn't be held accountable for it.

Those are reasons why crime happens more in poor areas than not. The people who commit those crimes should be punished for them. But the "richest, most powerful country on God's green earth" should work towards finding a solution to the cause
