Shokin was fired because he was NOT INVESTIGATING CORRUPTION.... is this difficult to understand?

Every country that was giving money to Ukraine, wanted a Person that WOULD INVESTIGATE CORRUPTION into office, because their money where being stolen!!!!

That is why Biden was charged with getting rid of him... with BIPARTISAN support and basically all countries giving money to Ukraine.

Hunter Biden should NOT have had that job.. but Joe Bidens job in THIS CASE, was to get rid of a CORRUPT Investigator that did NOT INVESTIGATE Corruption!!

Why should Trump want an investigating into why Biden got a corrupt Investigator fired?
If Biden wanted to help his son, he would want that CORRUPT Investigator kept in place!!!
Jesus, facts are hard...

Dems are all worked up over Ukraine. Adam Schiff indicates that the holding up of aid to Ukraine , by the POTUS , who by the Constitution has the power to do so, is an attack on America. A National Security issue because it involves their favorite Boogey man , Putin and the Russians.

Billions and billions of taxpayer dollars flow out of this country into the hands of foreign governments , and enter their worlds of corruption, crime, nepotism, human rights violations and nearly everything under the sun. While so many Americans suffer from homelessness , drug abuse, health issues, the Dems are fixated on what happens thousands and thousands of miles away. " We have to stop Russia from expanding in Europe" they will say.

The problem is that Europe is Russia's cash cow. Why would Russia expand and try to take over their customer's territory ? The last great expansion they took on was Afghanistan. America didn't learn anything from Russia's inability to " win" there , and the drain on the economic resources were severe.

The DNC MSM has mostly avoided the reports of the waste, fraud and lies regarding America's involvement with Afghanistan. The " good war" that Obama called it. Yes, GW also was also responsible . Too bad this POTUS wasn't around sooner. he might have saved the taxpayers billions , just like he wants to make sure the $ 400 million to Ukraine doesn't end up in some Oligarch's pocket.

The Impeachment is just nonsense. It is a Dog and Pony Show orchestrated by leftist Dems with their Leftist friends in Academia and the Media. All done to make it " the issue". More important than the homeless. More important than actual pain and suffering by Americans. More important than the crisis of who knows how many illegals that are given Sanctuary and being ABOVE THE LAW. The protected class.

Once again, what investigation determined these so called facts ?
Just answer the question so we can view the facts uncovered in the investigation !!! Keep in mind opinions are not facts except in rigged impeachment proceedings !!! Try to operate on a level above that of the dung beetle !!! Shifty Schiff couldn't do it but maybe you can !!! Give it a try !!!

I agree with most of what you state below, but what about Crimia? Didn't the Russians seize that territory?

Did they seize it because the Ukranians were not paying their natural gas bills to Russia?

I think the U.S. needs to do a lot less intervening in foreign affairs. I'm in between Donald Trump and Rand Paul on this topic.

You have a point, and priorities need to be determined. We're not privy to their culture. We don't always have our ear to the ground. Russia as it stands, is so much less than what most people think it is . Weapons yes , of course. But their economy , their quality of life, unknowns to most Americans. I think Americans are a little tired of burying American service people, and contractors , in places that may not deserve their sacrifices.

Read a few European newspapers from that time period... clearly states the same thing.

But I know... I should not trust any news.

Even a dung beetle recognizes a foul ball when they see it but thats just the evidence you suggest should be accepted !!!
There wasn't an "investigation" conducted. At the time of Shokin's removal, and during the months leading up to it, numerous international publications reported on the official position of the EU, IMF and US State Department concerning Shokin's removal (all agreed that he should be removed for corruption). Those reports were corroborated by contemporaneous and formal statements issued by diplomats and envoys of the EU, IMF and US, many of which are still available on their official websites.

Further confirming that it was official US policy that Shokin should be removed was the letter sent by a bi-partisan group of Senators, signed by many Republican Senators, stating that the top-down corruption in Shokin's office needed to be addressed. That letter is still available on Sen. Rob Portman's .gov website.

Joe Biden was sent at the behest of the State Department to help further push for Shokin's removal, in furtherance of the widely-reported formal, official US policy that Shokin should be removed. As such, he was acting in the US's interests, not his (or Hunter's) personal interests.

Given these easily-verifiable facts, there are two possibilities:

(a) Joe Biden successfully orchestrated a vast international conspiracy involving hundreds, if not thousands, of people including career diplomats from dozens of European countries, envoys and administrators from an NGO holding $40B in funds for Ukraine, State Department employees, the White House, the US Office of Management and Budget, and reporters and editors from at least a dozen international publications without anyone blowing the whistle during the 6+ months of active conspiring or at any point during the 3 years thereafter. Putting at risk his entire 30+ year political career, he invested untold funds and huge amounts of political capital to support this herculean and facially-impossible task. What was in it for him? A mere $50,000 a month for Hunter Biden.

or

(b) Joe Biden was performing official US policy but Trump thought he could use the optics of it as campaign fodder.

Ask yourself, which is more likely?

Are you claiming it was European newspapers that conducted an unbias investigation !!! Some reporter was the lead investigator I suppose !!! Can you name the reporter ? Using that standard anything that is put in print is a fact I suppose !!! Can you tells us they convened a grand jury and compelled testimony under oath ? Somehow that's not a standard reasonable people can rely on !!! It falls far short of the American standard for investigations !!! So far the dung beetle is winning the contest !!! The dung is important to the dung beetle but people generally require more than a ball of crap !!! Maybe a responsible newspaper will print that point of view so you can rely on it !!!
