Putin is driving the crazy Democrats to new heights.

The fact this comes from the lying blog called the NYT speaks to this.

Putin is an adversary to keep at arm's length. His government has been complicit in the murder of several political opponents and journalists and since Putin runs that government with a tight fist, those were likely done with his acquiescence. Putin is buddies with the Iranians and Syria. Siding with Russia means the US is abandoning the idea that we are the leader of the free world and are joining the league of despots of the world.

I don't understand this narrative that people think Trump is Putin's stooge. Yeah, he said some positive things about Russia, but that is part of his BS schtick he does to appear gracious, it to me seems like salesman 101 butter people up BS. Not real, just crap you say to be gracious.

Trump has done things that annoy and irk Putin. He's not doing anything to make Putin's like easier. Putin is probably doing this as calculated move to make people more mad at Trump.

Pretty much.

Be interesting to see what happens with the proposed sanctions. Trump administration is battling the legislation.

And Trump definitely isn't in trouble.

If I have to choose who speaks the truth and the choices are the New York Times on one side and Fox News, Vladimir Putin and Waldo Kitty on the other, I’ll believe The Gray Lady every damned time.

Trump continues his work for his boss. All roads lead to Putin. Even Trump's top defenders including McCarthy called it back in 2016.

Trump Administration Battles New Sanctions on Russia

The Trump administration is quietly fighting a new package of sanctions on Russia, The Daily Beast has learned. A Trump State Department official sent a 22-page letter to a top Senate chairman on Tuesday making a wide-ranging case against a new sanctions bill.

Sen. Lindsey Graham—usually a staunch ally of the White House—introduced the legislation earlier this year. It’s designed to punish Russian individuals and companies over the Kremlin’s targeting of Ukraine, as well as its 2016 election interference in the U.S., its activities in Syria, and its attacks on dissidents.

Graham said the legislation’s aggressiveness means it is “the sanctions bill from hell,” per Yahoo Finance. Trump World, meanwhile, says it is a mess.

The administration’s letter says it “strongly opposes” the bill unless it goes through a ton of changes. It argues the legislation is unnecessary and that it would harm America’s European allies–potentially fracturing transatlantic support for current U.S. sanctions on Russia. The bill “risks crippling the global energy, commodities, financial, and other markets,” the letter says, and would target “almost the entire range of foreign commercial activities with Russia.”

Oh god, you don't know what you're talking about. America wasn't created to be a global power.

The post world war 2 consensus had nothing to with freedom or democracy, it had to do with keeping trade routes open and setting up a monetary system that keeps financial speculations viable.

That is the leadership we show, Putin is opposed to American imperialism and reveals our own internal corruption. If you are American you should side with him as concerns your own domestic politics over the pharmaceutical executives, CIA agents, and criminal politicians whose only job is to keep consumer prices low by any means necessary.

Get a grip.

Putin should stay out of our business, of course that would mean we would have to stay out of their business which of course will never happen.

We side with Saudi Arabia, and China is a huge US trade partner...

The US has sponsored dictatorships and overthrown democracies for decades.

Seems you have more reading to do regarding global geopolitics.
