Actually McConnell left town already and is already dithering in the whiskey. Instead of staying and doing his job, McConnell bailed. Can't deliver the articles to a drunk man in Kentucky!

I wish the Demonics would impeach Trump by sending the articles to the Senate as required by the impeachment process asap to ensure nancy loses her Speakership and Trump is re-elected in a landslide in 2020.

There is nothing to negotiate. Congress did its part, now it goes to the Senate, where Pelosi knows it will blow up in their faces. This process was never intended for Trump to be removed from office. They wanted him to resign like Nixon did. How many times has Pelosi said what Trump did was worse than Nixon? Only to fail to back up her claims. How many times the past 30 months has Schiff screamed he had evidence that Trump was a Russian asset and the Steele Dossier was factual. Not only did Schiff NEVER provided any evidence, but the entire Steele Dossier fantasy was also blown apart by Horowitz. They have tried to con and bluff Trump into resigning twice and have failed miserably. Trump is so much savvier and street smart compared to these do nothing, corrupt career politicians. These people are done, the vast majority of sane, open-minded American people have seen through them and they know it. Trump has fully untied the Republican party in a way not seen since Ronald Reagan was in office.

Actually, when the articles were passed, everyone was still there....so no teeth nancy failed to do her job and let hoyer do the dirty work and say, good by till the 7th......while everyone was still there....

But an indefinite delay would pose a serious problem. Impeachment as contemplated by the Constitution does not consist merely of the vote by the House, but of the process of sending the articles to the Senate for trial. Both parts are necessary to make an impeachment under the Constitution: The House must actually send the articles and send managers to the Senate to prosecute the impeachment. And the Senate must actually hold a trial.
