Tribe has anti-Trump politics. He can also interpret the Constitution objectively. The man can walk and chew gum at the same time.

That is not really a fair comparison. There is little overlap between politics and the theory of relativity. There is massive overlap between politics and constitutional interpretation.

Logically and objectively Tribe's opinion carries more weight than Feldman's.
OK...…...then McConnell should just hold a vote already. No need to wait for Pelosi to get her act together.

The Constitution gives the Senate the sole power to try an impeachment and there's no requirement spelled out that requires the articles, a notification or House Managers presenting a case.

I'm good with getting the show on the road. What Pelosi is doing is not healthy for the country.

Will Trump supporters stop making up things. The articles of impeachment must be presented to the Senate in order to have a trial. READ the CONSTITUTION!

Please provide the Article/Section of the Constitution that contains that language. Just so you don't waste a lot of time, I'll give you a hint...…...there isn't any such language in the Constitution.

I guess nobody can complain about the source.

This is an opinion piece. It's not from Bloomberg.

So you want it both ways?

No articles have to be delivered for an impeachment

But no trial to actually convict can take place until the articles are delivered.

So great sage of liberal justice, where does that leave the country?

Liberalism is truly a mental disease.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/is-dona...red-to-senate/

"However, Harvard Law Professor Laurence Tribe wrote on Twitter that he disagreed with Feldman's analysis, saying that "under Art. I, Sec. 2, Clause 5, he was impeached on Dec 18, 2019. He will forever remain impeached. Period." That portion of the Constitution says that the House of Representatives "shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.""

Consensus among the legal community is that The President is impeached. Feldman's opinion has been dismissed. The Constitution does not require anything to be delivered to the Senate for the purposes of impeachment. The trial that follows impeachment, however, yes.

Indeed.

Imagine if this wasn't a sham impeachment and it really mattered.

Its hard to fathom the damage they would be inflicting on the country probably starting with the economy.

Its bad enough whats happening now when it doesn't really matter.
