Me too, knew it when I saw it.
Yet many lefties that have no direct knowledge of military culture raged on about how white nationalism is now openly flouted in our military academies.
Since the 1960s I've seen people flash the "OK" sign to each other (forefinger and thumb in a circle, the other three fingers extended and separated). It meant "Okay" or "That's good", everybody knew it and recognized it.
Now in the 2010s, where on earth did anybody get the idea that it stood for "White supremacy" or some other repellent idea?
Is there some 1984-like Ministry of Handsignals busily rewriting everything we knew, in ways nobody ever contemplated?
How long until pointing just the forefinger straight up with the thumb and other fingers folded, means 3,274 and no longer the number 1? Or maybe it represents a green-painted yacht, or a microwave oven or something?
How many of the news outlets that ran with the story are going to print the findings...?
