You are implying they did not like him because he was a Republican, that was not the reason, his party did not matter, many people did not like him personally, yet he still almost won. This was not some "anti-Republican blow back" like you are implying. Just as Hillary losing was not some anti-Democrat blow back, fact is many people did not like her personally regardless of her politics.
Excuses are like as....well you know where I was going with that.
Physical signs would include damage to the hymen. Physical signs are not found in 90% of abused children.
So him claiming that the child wasn't raped because her hymen was intact is not scientifically sound.
No, that doesn't follow. Most "abuse" isn't rape. You have told us nothing relevant to your conclusion that "claiming that the child wasn't raped because her hymen was intact is not scientifically sound". You might be right, but you didn't make your case.

Not really an excuse, just a fact. Facts are what drives things, and no Democrat in their right mind is going to think this was some pro Democrat surge, versus what is was, a disliked guy who is a Republican, disliked for who he is, not because of his party.
lol It's about rape and not what you posted. This was about vaginal penetration and when an adult does that to a child, the hymen breaks. Why else would Bevin make it about that?
There was no physical evidence to support the rape.

He lost. He was a Republican. Let’s not be disputatious over those 2 most important facts.
Miss me with all the right wing prevaricating.
