J K Rowling says something sane and factual. Now Hogwarts isn't a safe space anymore. The SJW are disowning one of their previous standard bearers.

But what it truly scary for society is the tribunal ruling at the heart of her comments. A women has lost her job in the UK for stating facts about biology - men cannot change into women.

James Tayler, the ruling judge, concluded that Forstater did not have the right to ignore or deny the legal rights of trans people and said her tweets were “incompatible with human dignity and fundamental rights of others”.. How long until people are imprisoned for stating facts?

Will she be cancelled or will her next book feature a muggle who identifies as a wizard to make up for it?

The Progressive mindset which has taken over much of society is devoid of reality and should be confined to FANTASY stories like Harry Potter. It is scary we have come this far with Oppression BY the Left in today's society.

If you want to be really "WOKE" stop pandering to their fascism and start fighting the status quo and the current Progressive ESTABLISHMENT instead of CONFORMING.

The ruling in that case is chilling, 1984 just didn’t get the year right. I respect JK Rowling for coming to her defense. Hopefully our 1st Amendment Rights will keep this type of government sanctioned thought repression at bay.

I hope so.

Many really seem to think they have the right not to be offended.

Default J.K. Rowling doesn't believe trans people can actually change their sex

And she's catching hell from the Ministry of Magic.

Quote:
J.K. Rowling, the creator of the “Harry Potter” series, was criticized by gay and transgender rights groups on Thursday after she expressed support for a British researcher whose views on transgender people were described by a court as “not worthy of respect in a democratic society.”
The researcher, Maya Forstater, lost her job last year at a think tank in London and filed a lawsuit earlier this year alleging discrimination based on what she called her “gender critical” views, which she has expressed often on Twitter. Among them is the belief, which Ms. Forstater tweeted on Wednesday, that “it is impossible to change sex.”
---
“Dress however you please,” Ms. Rowling wrote on Twitter, where she has more than 14 million followers. “Call yourself whatever you like. Sleep with any consenting adult who’ll have you. Live your best life in peace and security. But force women out of their jobs for stating that sex is real? #IStandWithMaya

One thing one never does is contradict the official orthodoxy of the religion, or you will be excommunicated for heresy.

Oh, magic wise, it's easy!

One just goes into hyperspace, finds the genetic alter-image, take the image they have now, exchange (probably with a mind transfer spin as well) and V-IOLA! they are what they weren't before!

It's like the rabies cure for magical primitive societies. Okay, you are bit by the bad mouse and he really socked it to you. Are you dead meat? Well, since rabies is a warm blooded disease, all you have to do is find some kind hearted wizard to turn you into a snake or the like until the disease is no longer in your body, a year or so should do it, and then you can be out there hacking away with the best of them!

SO-o, if you believe in magic, really heavy magic, it's possible.........

............and perhaps the writer in question just seriously set her cash base afire since she just showed.........she doesn't.

Nonsense. The ruling was that the organization that didn't renew her contract wasn't required to. Forstater wasn't fired, simply not renewed, a decision made by the organization, not the government. She wasn't renewed because of her own public statements, which were at odds with the organization, which is not a government agency.
